Now then — the first time I set this one up, Oscar demanded we call him "Shadow Fang" for the rest of the day. I was chuffed.

There's something brilliant about letting kids step into another world, and a ninja adventure does that like nothing else. This one's set at the Temple of Four Elements, where a wise Sensei called Kaito has summoned young warriors to prove they've got what it takes to become real ninjas.

Before the adventure even starts, each child gets their own ninja name from a special name generator — and honestly, seeing them transform into their ninja selves is half the fun. Then they're off to tackle eight stations representing fire, water, earth, and air. Some stations are all about action and movement, others are proper riddle-solving, and the best ones mix both together.

📦 What you get in the PDF

  • Complete story script — Sensei Kaito's voice guides the journey from station to station
  • Two full difficulty levels: younger ninjas (4–6 years, playful and movement-focused) and bigger ninjas (7–9 years, trickier riddles and more teamwork)
  • Ninja name generator so every child gets their own warrior identity
  • A treasure map with space to collect symbols at each station
  • Eight station cards with clear instructions, clues, and answers
  • Ninja certificates and badges for the finish
  • A parent guide that walks you through everything step-by-step
  • Creative ideas (ninja masks, music, obstacle-course tweaks)
🎯

Best for: ages 4–9, 4 or more players, indoor or outdoor (garden, park, living room all work), about 60–120 minutes depending on how many stations you use and how much the kids are bouncing around. The two difficulty levels mean you can mix different ages without anyone feeling left out.
Hannah’s honest tip: if you've got kids of wildly different ages, grab tasks from both versions and slot them together — the beauty of this one is that it's flexible. And if energy's flagging, just skip one of the extra challenge stations; it'll still feel like a proper adventure and you'll buy yourself some peace.

★★★★★
My son (9) was desperate for a ninja treasure hunt for his birthday. The two age variants are handy – that way the younger siblings (6 years) could join in without getting frustrated. It took about 85 minutes, a good length. Thoroughly recommended.

★★★★★
Really cool mix of thinking and action. First some puzzling, then movement again – that worked brilliantly. The children were motivated throughout.

Cool ninja treasure hunt for the birthday! My son immediately dressed up as a real ninja and solved all the tasks with enthusiasm. The puzzles are well thought out and perfectly suited for children aged 7 and up. We'll happily be back!
