Best for: ages 4–12 (genuinely plays well across that whole range), indoors or in the garden/local woods, 2–10 hunters. This scales brilliantly — younger ones follow the story, older ones get the proper nature puzzles. Expect 60–120 minutes depending on distance and how deep you go into the bonus activities.
Hannah’s honest tip: if you can do this outdoors, brilliant — but our favourite version was actually in the garden with some branches piled up for a "forest." Younger children love it when woodland is accessible. And that hedgehog fact (they eat beetles) became our Oscar's dinner-table fact for weeks.
