Best for: ages 4–9, indoors or garden (the movement games work either way), 2–10 little farmers. Genuinely expect 1–2 hours of actual busy-ness here, especially if you lean into the character work. Nowt better for keeping them off the telly on a rainy afternoon.
Hannah’s honest tip: the animal movements are brilliant for getting wiggly children focused. Oscar made up his own "Blitz the horse" dance which was genuinely the best thing, and the adults ended up doing it too. And if you've got a blanket or sheet, drape it over a chair — instant goblin cave. Wuselwind's voice (ours was a bit like a naughty pixie) turns it from a game into a story.
